Start Your Journey With the Moonwalk Method
Fitness shouldn’t start with a workout. It should start with a plan.
How We Help You Succeed
Every journey begins with understanding where you are today. We start by learning about your goals, lifestyle, health history, and movement patterns. Depending on your needs, we may recommend body composition testing, VO₂ max testing, strength assessments, mobility testing, or nutrition coaching. From there we build a personalized roadmap so every workout moves you toward a specific goal instead of simply exercising for the sake of exercising.
Your first visit is about getting to know you—not putting you through a workout you’re not ready for.
We’ll start with a conversation about your goals, your current fitness, your schedule, your past experiences with exercise, and what you ultimately want your health and fitness to allow you to do.
From there, we’ll learn more about where you are today and discuss the next steps that make the most sense for you. Depending on your goals and the program you’re interested in, this may include movement assessments, strength and mobility testing, body composition analysis, VO₂ max testing, or other assessments.
This is the beginning of the Moonwalk Method: Discover. We believe the best fitness plan starts with understanding the individual—not putting everyone through the same workout.
By the end of your first visit, you’ll have a better understanding of where you are, where you want to go, and how Moonwalk can help you get there.
Because people have different goals, injuries, schedules, stress levels, and starting points.
Absolutely not.
Most members begin because they want help getting started—not because they’ve already figured everything out.
Consistency isn’t a personality trait.
It’s the result of having the right plan, accountability, and coaching.
It can be either—or a combination of both.
Moonwalk Fitness offers personal training, semi-private training, and group fitness (CrossFit and HYROX), but the difference is that we don’t believe your fitness plan should be dictated by the format you choose.
The Moonwalk Method starts with understanding you, your goals, your current abilities, and what you need to make sustainable progress. From there, we help determine the right training approach for you.
Want individualized coaching and programming? Personal or semi-private training may be the best fit. Prefer the energy and community of a group? Our group classes provide that while still offering coaching, modifications, and progression.
The goal isn’t to fit you into a class. It’s to build a fitness plan that fits your life.
The moonwalk appears effortless because every movement is intentional.
We believe long-term health works the same way. The Moonwalk Method creates a clear system so your progress becomes sustainable rather than dependent on motivation.
Yes—with the right approach.
Previous injuries, limitations, or recurring aches don’t necessarily mean you have to stop training. They mean your training needs to be individualized.
As part of the Moonwalk Method, we look at how you move, what you can currently do, and what you’re trying to accomplish. Your coach can modify exercises, adjust intensity and range of motion, and progressively build your strength and capacity based on your individual needs.
We also know when something is outside our scope of practice. If you have an acute injury, significant or unexplained pain, or a condition that requires medical attention, we may recommend that you work with an appropriate healthcare professional before or alongside your training.
Our goal isn’t to train around your limitations forever. It’s to help you build the strength, confidence, and capacity to move better and do more.
It depends on where you’re starting, what you want to accomplish, and how consistently you follow your plan.
Some changes—like feeling stronger, having more energy, sleeping better, or moving with more confidence—can happen within the first few weeks. More measurable changes in strength, body composition, aerobic capacity, and performance typically take longer and require consistent training, nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle habits.
That’s why the Moonwalk Method isn’t built around a quick fix or a 30-day transformation. We establish where you are, create a plan based on your goals, and regularly reassess your progress so we can adjust your approach as you improve.
We’re not interested in helping you get temporary results. We’re interested in helping you build a body that continues to perform for years to come.
Because better decisions start with better information.
Most fitness programs rely heavily on how you look, how you feel, or what the scale says. We believe you deserve a more complete picture of your health and performance.
VO₂ max testing gives us insight into your aerobic capacity and cardiovascular fitness—one of the most useful measures of how well your body can use oxygen during exercise.
Body composition testing helps us look beyond body weight to understand changes in muscle mass, body fat, and other key measurements over time.
These assessments aren’t about giving you another number to obsess over. They’re tools we use to establish a baseline, identify opportunities, measure progress, and make smarter adjustments to your training.
It’s one of the things that makes the Moonwalk Method different: we don’t guess where you’re going. We measure where you are, build a plan, and continually adjust based on what your body is telling us.
